Steven Proctor, “The Interceptor Pattern”
August 17, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm CDT
Abstract: Interceptors are a pattern in the Clojure community that help with state management, error handling, and asynchronous programming, with a bit of aspect orientation mixed in. This talk will explain what interceptors are, how they work, and show some basic examples of the power they can give in a code base.
Bio: Proctor is a high-functioning geek, that geeks out on programming languages, and functional programming. Proctor also hosts the podcast Functional Geekery.

I enjoyed tonight’s meeting! Proctor did a great job. It was great seeing a first hand example on the differences and some similarities between OOP and Functional Programming.
Hi Claude and Steve,
Appreciate the meeting today, had a quick chat with my team and everyone was asking if they could get access to the recording. Is there a link you could please share with me so I can pass it on to them?
Regards,
Charles
