Great talk. Tell your boss open sourcing your CE builders is a great way to put your organization in front of F# enthusiasts. It doesn’t really expose any of your company’s important IP.

One challenge is that MATLAB and MATLAB Production Server are not very open source friendly–it would be difficult to try without purchasing a fairly expensive license. Maybe it makes sense to write a similar Python wrapper for multiple return values and **kwargs? Or an R FFI that manages heterogeneous lists?

Have you considered Octave to learn basics of Matlab?
